5 signs your paid social has a creative-fatigue problem

Creative fatigue is the most common thing I find in an audit, and the most missed. It rarely announces itself with a flashing red light. It shows up as a slow, quiet drift that most brands mistake for a targeting problem or just a bad month.

By the time it's obvious, you've usually burned weeks of budget teaching the algorithm to spend more for less. Here are the five signs I look for, in roughly the order they show up.

The five signs

The fix is almost never a bigger budget or a fresh audience. It's a steady cadence of genuinely new creative, tested continuously so a fresh winner is always waiting when the current one tires. That single habit is the highest-leverage thing most brands aren't doing.
